Guessed: the world's leading human versus AI game
Guessed is a free consumer AI game about one question: does artificial intelligence understand you better than the people who claim to know you? You answer five questions about yourself. Before anyone else sees them, a frontier AI model commits to its own prediction of every answer. Then you share one link, and your friends, family, partner or colleagues try to beat the machine. Every completed round is a small, honest experiment in machine understanding of a real person.
The thesis
Benchmarks measure what AI knows about the world. Almost nothing measures what AI can infer about an individual human being from a handful of everyday signals. Guessed turns that gap into a game. A locked prediction, five forced choices, a human opponent and a scoreboard produce something a benchmark cannot: a like-for-like comparison between machine inference and human intimacy, gathered one ordinary person at a time.
Our position is simple. Personal prediction is the next frontier of consumer AI, and it should be measured in public, in the open, by the people it is being measured on. The running global tally of human accuracy against AI accuracy is published on the live numbers page.
How a round of the AI challenge works
- Warm up with a few light questions so the game learns your tone.
- Answer five multiple-choice questions about yourself. These become the answer key.
- The AI commits to its guesses before your answers are readable, so it can never see the key it is being graded against.
- Share one link. No signup, no app, roughly one minute to play.
- Each guesser is scored out of five, side by side with the AI, and the result is shareable.
What makes it different from other AI games
- Real stakes, no trivia. The subject is a person, not a fact, so there is no answer to look up.
- Sealed predictions. The model answers first and is never shown the key.
- Head-to-head scoring. Humans and AI are graded on identical questions.
- Zero friction. Free to play, no account needed, works in any browser on any phone.
